Thank You Card

I really love this thank you card.  I used my Imagine to make 11 of these, 10 are for someone else and one for me. lol  I printed the tan card stock with Imagine More Cart and the "champagne" looking pattern paper with the Blossom Cart.  I used Lacey Labels for my shape and sentiment.  I also printed both of those and then cut them out on the Imagine as well.  Added embossing with the Cuttlebug folder, Textiles, a few pearls and call it done.  I think it made for an elegant Thank You card.  What do you think?

A Few Cards

Hello my crafty friends.  On Saturday a teacher friend came over and we made cards while the snow fell, and fall it did!! We got quite a few inches of wet, heavy snow.  Down came huge tree limbs as well as the power lines. We were lucky as we didn't lose our power, but we did lose huge tree limbs in our front yard.  So onto the cards, I didn't get many made, but here are a few.  I didn't use my Cricut, but did use my Cuttlebug dies and embossing folders as well as MS web punch and branch punch, CM heart punches, SU sentiment stamp, My Pink Stamper sentiment stamp and Just Rite stamps.

Baby Lo using my Imagine

Hi Crafty friends!  I have a lo that I made to put my own baby pic on, but guess what?  I can't find the one and only pic I have of me as a baby!!  I know it is here somewhere, but where I just can't put my finger on it.  I saw it when my craft room was in the basement bedroom, but then my son wanted that room and he moved my room upstairs into his old room and now I can't find it. lol  It will turn up I'm sure.  Anway on to my lo.  I was supper pumped because I finally used my Imagine after many problems with it.  I got it and had to send it back because it wouldn't work, then got the replacement and low and behold the cart wouldn't work in it, so had to wait for that to be replaced. Then it sat there before I used it.  So I decided to use it to print all my paper for my lo using the Blossom cart.  The paper is just beautiful and the pics doesn't do it justice, looks so much prettier in person.  So all the paper on this lo was done using white cardstock and the Imagine and Blossom cart.  I also used the Nursery Rhyme cart with the Imagine and place the color right into the image! So cool!!! lol  The cute little buttons are from SU. I thought they were perfect and the colors matched so well!! I plan on putting a copy of my birth certificate in the journaling box along with my pic as soon as I find it.  Thanks for looking my friends and remember you can click on the pics to see them bigger to see the details of the paper.  I am entering this in the Lasting Memories Challenge this week which is to use bling on your lo.  I used some rinestones and stickles for my bling.

Paper Pumpkin

Hi my crafty friends, I hope that you day has been a good one.  One more day and it is a TGIF day!!  The wind blew and gusted to hard today, that I just stayed in and worked on this cute little paper pumpkin.  It is very popular right now and just as cute as it can be.  It started out as a free project sheet from Archivers and people started to share them on the internet and how to make them.  They are very easy, but time consuming-but well worth it. lol  Here is the link if you want to make one!!!   http://mrsbscraftroom.blogspot.com/2011/10/paper-pumpkin.html  I do plan on making some more, but I have plans on adding two more rosettes to make it more rounder.  Have fun making this cute little pumpkin!!!

Thanksgiving Wreath

Back again my crafty friends.  I have a rosette wreath and they are so hot right now. lol  Everyone is making them so I had to join the bandwagon to and make one or two or maybe even three.  But lets start with one for now.  I cut a 12 x 12 fall paper in half, scored on the 12 inch side for the whole 6x12 sheet.  Then I took and cut my 6x12 sheet into 4-1 1/2x6 strips.  Then I fan folded each one and hot glued to a circle.  For my medium and small rosettes I used the Tim Holtz double rosette maker.  This has two different sized rosettes on it.  I really need to get the big one he has then I wouldn't have had to make the 1 1/2x6 by hand. lol  I didn't mind though.  I used SU ribbon and buttons and the Thanksgiving Cricut cart for my die cuts.  I'm pretty happy with how this turned out and plan on making more of these as they are so cute and festive hanging in the house!

Alien Birthday Card

Hi my crafty friends, hope all is well in your part of the world!!  I made a cute little alien birthday card for a cute little fella.  We had missed his birthday party, so I wanted to try and make up for that my having a fun card for him.  I used the Alien from Toy Story and his spaceship.  I also used My Pink Stamper sentiment as well as a sentiment from Paper Trey Ink.  I placed these guys on a twisted easel card as the men in my life just think these are so cool. lol  I should have made the spaceship bigger, but live and learn.  Thanks for looking!!

Step Card

This step card is a great way to make an announcemennt, like a graduation announcement, a baby announcement, etc...You get the picture. lol  So I thought that I might make a few of these for Christmas to send to far off relatives with the picture of our new grandson.  It makes for a cute card and then they can have a pic of this little cutie patootie!  Don't ya think??? Yea, both the card and the little cute baby. lol  I didn't use any Cricut on this one, but you certainly could and I might for future ones.  For this one, I just used SU stamps.  Thanks for your wonderful support my friends, I love reading your comments!!

Remodeling lo

Hi my crafty friends.  Some of you know that we have been remodeling our bathroom and what a job it has become!  We are finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel and hubby is so glad as he needs to get to harvesting on the farm.  But first the weather needs to cooperate and the rain needs to leave and stay gone for a while.  Any way on the Cricut mb we have a little challenge thread and one of our challenges was to make a lo of the last pics we took on 9/11.  Well mine was of the guys working on the bead board in the bathroom.  A boring lo to say the least!! lol  I used the lite cart Handy Man and George for my shapes.  Nothing fancy, nothing exciting. lol  Until next time my crafty friends, have a wonderful week!

Baby Card

Ok one more post then I must get to some chores in the house! lol  This is a card that I am entering into two challenges, MAG amd Cricut 360.  At MAG you were to use pg. 35 in the Sentimentals cricut cart only, so I chose the card base.  At Cricut 360 you were to make a baby card.  So was born my little card.  It will fit into an A2 envie, I used my base to make all my layers.  A little inking, my cute little turtle stamp, embossing, some pearls and a little gingham bow complete this card.  Simple but cute.  I used colored pencils blended with a blending pencil.  Remember you can click on the photo to enlarge and super enlarge. Ok now get to work!! lol

Autumn LO

Hi my crafty friends!  We have seen a little sunshine this morning!!  Looks like after tomorrow the rain should be out of here and sunshine will be our friend again with some more seasonal, warmer temps!  So looking forward to some days without rain!!  Ok on to my lo.  I made a fall lo that I am entering into BBB2 challenge.  The challenge was to use the wheelbarrel off of Walk In My Garden cricut cart. I cut my leaves on white cardstock then inked them with distress inks to give me my fall colored leaves. They look so good in person, not as well in the photo.  I do wish I had used a different color background, but it still looks better in person than in the photo.  I took the pics at night, so there is no natural light to show the colors better. My pumpkin was made by punch three ovals, the stem and curly cues are made with white memory thread that I colored with Bic markers.  Carts used in this lo was Stretch Your Imagination, Jubilee, Walk In My Garden, and Straight from the Nest.

Football Birthday Card

DS number 5 had a birthday.  We celebrate his birthday tonight even though it was last Thursday, this is the first he has been home from college, so tonight it is.  He is a football fan and loves the Ravens, so I used purple in the card.  All cuts are from Sports Mania.  The field I designed using the Gypsy to unlock the ratio chain so I could make it 5 1/4 x 4.  Then cut my football guy with his shadow, mounted him on pop dots and stuck him down.  Did my inside, nothing fancy there.  Made it a twisted easel card because DS number 1 loved his, so thought I would make all the guys one for their birthdays. Only 4 more to go. LOL
